Sabouraud Dextrose Agar - Dermatology Mycology Standard


Sabouraud Dextrose Agar high dextrose (40g/L) and peptone formulation with acidic pH (5.6) creates selective environment favoring dermatophytes, yeasts, and systemic fungi while inhibiting bacterial overgrowth. Excellent sporulation characteristics facilitate microscopic identification and subculture to specialized media.
