Histological xylene rapidly dissolves paraffin ribbons (56-60°C MP) enabling clean rehydration through graded alcohols before H&E staining.

Laboratories achieve complete dewaxing in 3-5 minutes preventing incomplete removal that causes hazy hematoxylin backgrounds.

Low fluorescence grade supports FISH/IHC fluorescence imaging without quenching while providing optical clearing (n=1.495).

Consistent evaporation rate prevents mounting media bubble formation during coverslipping.
